I was really close on jumping in on the original orders for an 8, but I wasn't sold since I don't have a use for that many strings. It all worked out because I ended up snagging this 7 in the finish I originally wanted and couldn't be more stoked. It looks massive but its surprisingly light. Frets are rounded, and action is comfortable right out of the box. I've only had one guitar with a Wenge neck before and the feel of this one is totally different in a better way. Super impressed with the quality and playability. Its making me reconsider going for one of the 8s, but we'll wait till the honeymoon is over

Here are the specs:
  • Basswood body
  • Sage finish, Satin front, gloss bevels/back
  • Wenge neck
  • Asymmetrical neck profile
  • Ebony fretboard
  • Stainless Steel frets
  • Fishman pickups
  • Gotoh locking tuners

Looks awesome, congrats!

I don't know much about Abasi guitars, is this one of the instruments made by Grover-Jackson, or was it the previous USA builder, or is it one of the newer Japanese or Korean models?

Press reply and they'll show in the reply box.
Holy crabs that is some serius hacks and some serious guitar porn right there! Such a beautiful finish for the wenge neck, feels like a Schecter Nick Johnston (atomic green, wenge neck) but more ballsy. How much did pay for this magnificent beast?

The guitar itself isn’t my thing, but echoing what others have said, that color and wenge neck combo is fucking choice.
