Just dropping in to say the Stream GT RULES. I have one (and owned two for a while) and absolutely love it. But ESP doesn't sell it in the West (at least, not the Original line version) so you have to import them from Japan. I wish they would do more with this shape.
One was briefly sold as an E-II but I guess it didn't move enough to justify keeping it in the line.

So I came to this thread to check out what ESP fans are saying, cause I usually only frequent Ibanez discussions but I wanted to see what fans of other brands are saying. Turns out this thread is basically the same the the Ibanez 2024 thread - complaining and disappointment. Kinda interesting (sad?).
I’ve got enough complaining and disappointment leftover that I could easily fill the Ibanez thread on the fact the the SZ Prestige’s should be brought back.

How is the upper fret access with Stream GT? I love the upper fret access on my Ltd Phoenix-1000 and would like to have 24 fret guitar with that great upper fret access too.

It's excellent. The Stream has a deep cutaway and a very smooth heel. I have no issues getting way up to the 24th fret. I've not played a Phoenix but I imagine the upper fret access is similar.

Not sure why, but these little teasers are actually getting me excited to see what they bring to the market this year. They have had a few models of the last few years I would've loved to try if they had ever ended up in stores.

Which is a shame because it's one of their better looking original designs.

One year only, 2016. Can’t imagine there are many of those out there The Mystique at least lasted a few years.

A Mystique - the pointier PRS with a more phallic headstock that I’ve always wanted.

There's also the NS-6 Nergal sig that was almost the same thing but with the single 12th fret inlay instead of big blocks and no binding. They're - IMO - still overpriced for what they are, but as a guitar version of it, really the only option it seems.

The Stream, Formula, Maverick, and Mystique are proof the US market doesn't like cool shapes and I hate us for it
EDIT: And the transition from the cockstock to the PRS/Schecter ripoff headstock

Huh, the Formula looks like what I've always imagined the "final form" of an Ibanez SZ to be, but it never quite gets there; like, it's such minor changes, a slight offset, and makes the horns a bit sharper, and voila, that's it.

The US market always gets a watered down version of what's available. I still remember the days when proper eclipses and SV/RV were available in Europe.
