If I'm being honest, if it's anything like my high school "fights," just before the first person tries to throw a punch one of my sketchy BMX friends will jump in and start roundhouse-slapping everyone with fully-extended arms. Ahhh, memories. I hope that guy's doing alright. He didn't always make great choices but his moral compass was definitely well-tuned.

I mean, some of us have gotten to kind of know each other and find each other's opinions interesting. Like, talking smack and sharing stuff in the anime thread with @NotDonVito and @Bloody_Inferno and everyone else a few years ago was a freaking blast, and I wasn't playing much guitar at all back then. I don't think I made a single guitar-related post in like 2 or 3 years, 
but it kept me coming back to the forum and eventually I grabbed the guitar again. I probably wouldn't have got that elsewhere.
Anyway, back to doing the washing machine in a hardcore moshpit.

Same. My friend told me everyone needs to get punched in the face once, I was like "nah." Being tall and loud will go a long way.... not being a complete fuck will go even further.
I did have one kid try it, he punched my little brother in the face so I did what any reasonable person would do, dropped my tea and went total nerd-rage on his ass. He broke free from the teacher who was holding him and tried to hit me in the face but missed. I like to think that was my "once," and god just had other plans for my beautiful face.

I dunno wtf point I was trying make with this post yesterday but I was starting to get hit by waves of flu symptoms at the time so I'm gonna blame the oncoming fever. My sincere apologies to the general public and Mr. Mcconaughey.
Well, I've been punched in the face once when I was in 6th grade. It didn't hurt, it was just the indignation of having been punched in the face. To be fair, I was asking for it and I got it... but he still punched like a bitch. We were best friends after.

We were probably around 12-15 years old. I was doing something to piss him off, which normally I didn't do. Whatever I was doing worked to piss him off a he started swinging at me. He connected one right on my mouth, right where I had braces. After that hit I thought one of my teeth got knocked back but it just popped the braces off my top front teeth. I think we both got wide eyed and went "fuck" because dad was going to be even more pissed lmao

That was the only time we actually got to fighting, though it was just him swinging and me laughing and blocking his punches lol I think we both learned a lesson: don't piss your brother off and don't break his braces

I still have a scar from punching a kid in the mouth who had braces. It was a pretty weak punch, and he totally had it coming. We were also friends after.
