Love that thing. However, Diamond Series needs to go away in favor of a better rebranding. It's corny and goes back to a time when Schecter wasn't making such nicely appointed guitars overseas. I feel the same way about LTD. That's also due to go away.
Yeah something like S-II. And LTD can be E-III since there's already E-II.

I think I'm very close to deciding what 7 string I want to get with this one.

The value for money is insane. This has the body of a Tao 7 with very close to the neck of an SLS Elite (it's not a compound radius though). It seems like a great doer-upper.

Me this morning thinking I wouldn't mind those Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners that my Tao 6 has on my SLS Elite.
Me after looking at the price; Nah. The Schecter brand locking tuners are fine.

How much were you seeing the tuners for? Cause I can usually get them for just over $60. That said though, I wouldn't replace the Schecter locking with them, because the Schecter tuners hold tuning very well.

€108.

Yeah the Schecter tuners are great. Which is why I don't feel it's worth it to pay that price.

Yeah, that's more than I'd pay for them, but I also get cheaper prices in the US. Hipshot themselves charge more than their dealers over here, oddly enough. Either way, yeah, the tuners are great. And I didn't realize how good they were compared to some of the competition for self-branded tuners until I tried a buddy's Sterling JP. Those tuners couldn't hold the tuning to save their life.

If it sells, he's probably not as crazy as we'd think. Avenged Sevenfold is a stadium-level band in both the US and Europe after all, and there are still financial whales they have as fans, I'm sure.

Ok, sure, but for fuck sake, you can get a USA Syn for maybe less. This is just a famous guy being a thief imho. I'm waiting for some candles that's smell like his anus

I might not like the price either, but if it's priced to where someone will buy it, who's he really "stealing" from? Especially because most people who see it aren't going to buy the guitar. Anybody who buys it is willfully parting with their money about $2000 more than he should for a USA Syn. Ergo, a collector who has money and loves A7X and wants something handpainted by Syn. That ain't me, and neither is it you. But it's likely somebody.

"Introducing the Synyster Gates Limited Edition Guitar, (D)eath of a Poet - the first guitar ever created on the blockchain providing trustless authentication. Hand-painted by Synyster Gates for a one-of-a-kind collectible. Own a piece of history with 100% guarantee of authenticity"

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA what a fucking doofus. For $6000 you get an NFT $1100 guitar with a shitty paint job. The blockchain stuff just makes it much more embarrassing since that shit's been out of style for like a year now.

You're right, but in my book taking advantage of people stupidity is nothing to be proud of either, and it's basically what he's doing. I mean I can sell my farts for 10k to someone who's willing to smell em, but I wouldn't feel that honest. That guitar isn't worth 6K, no matter how limited the whole line is, the specs are basic and the craftmanship is, well Korean, so far from being perfect.
Makes me wonder if someone bought one and found it blemished, would Syngates accept a return?
