Well I just realized that an rg7621 (i think?) that I scored last week has what I believe to be dimarzio pickups in it. I took them out of the body and it says dimarzio on the back... the only thing is i'm not sure what model they are and it doesn't seem to say anywhere on them, I really wanna know what they are, these are some of the best passive pickups i've ever used, I love them.

I have no idea of anyone could identify them from these awful pics?

^those serial numbers are supposed to be on the back of the pickup I assume? are they supposed to be engraved or is it a sticker?

Hell Dimarzio has a pickup identifier on their website!!!

If they are Dimarzios,they are either Blaze,D-Activator,Or EVO 7s.Most likely it's an OEM model and the model # is not always on the back.

Nope! Those are New 7's if they are dimarzio, and they don't have much for writing on them other than an identifier for neck or bridge.

yep. they went other some other name too, custom 7 iirc.
the bridge pickup is horrible, but the neck pickup is pretty decent. nothing to call home about, but nothing to scoff at either

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

Yeah- Dimarzio made these custom pups for Ibanez. They were called New7s. They have been misrepresented before as Blazes but they arent.

ah ok. I was under the impression that these weren't stock pickups since the wiring was kinda messed up when I got the guitar. plus I didn't know 7621's came with dimarzio manufactured pickups.

actually, they have a one-digit model #. New 7's have N2 or B2 stamped on the baseplates, neck or bridge respectively, and OEM Blazes have N1 or B1 stamped on the baseplate.
