I recently picked up a 2003 RG350 and am in the process of restoring/fixing it.
Having some issues with the pick ups and I started looking for diagrams for it but can't find one that seems trustworthy lol. Can someone point me in the right direction?
I recently installed a 66 and a 89r and couldn't deal with the difference in output. The 66 was huge compared to the 89r. So I said screw it and bought a 57. The output on the 66 was still a fair amount more, so I lowered the 66 away from the strings and raised the 57. Now it sounds great...
I got a white RG8 about a year and a half ago. I swapped the stock pickups for a set of D'actovators from a S8 and upped the gauged of the lower 2 strings. It's a damn solid guitar for the price.
I have the el-cheapo modle RG8 I swapped the stock pickups for a set from a set of D'actovators from a S8. I use the Ernie ball 10-74, ended up changing the lower strings to a 66 and 80. Got a good set up on it had the ends of the frets filed, they where pretty sharp, and it's been a pretty...
So I think I finally figured out how to wire these EMG's up. A 66 and a 89R with out a switch. 2 volume, 1 tone. My last question is, does the circuit not get grounded to the bridge like a passive setup?
I just got a 66 and an 89r from a member on here both came with what looks like everything they would come with if the where fresh out of the box. Now I've been looking for a wiring diagram to drop them in with out a three way switch like my passive set up has.
I was thinking of wiring them...
