So, I'm being asked to spill the beans on the production from some of my composer friends I met at a Discord server. I'll probably do a live session with them, but thought I'd note them down here too.
Like my first album, I scored everything except lead melodies and solos on Sibelius, then...
Decided to come out of the fridge for a bit, just to talk about Angry Dragon: Improvised Wanking. Only up to chapter 6 and all I've done is wallow in the minigames. I'm one goon away from cleaning up the whole Sujimon League, but chose to stop after feeling I've spent way too much time with...
Mark Osegueda is really the only reason to listen to this. In which case you're better off listening to the last 5 Death Angel albums. Even Phil Demmel's solo sounds tired.
Going through X-Men 97 weekly. At first, I wasn't interested since it's as nakedly nostalgia pandering as it gets and the writing itself is interwoven to that. But the writing is strong and energetic, I'm enjoying it a lot. And Nili Brosh does an amazing job on the theme song.
And also keeping...
It's not difficult to keep a non locking trem in tune. Hell, I have a Talman with a 6 screw trem and it stays in tune like a champ. And that's before I retrofitted with a Gotoh GE101TS and a bone nut.
While I'm in this thread; the Ibanez Saber line should've remained 22 frets. I appreciated...
 gents. I should add a disclaimer; this album is rather long and dense, so it'll take some time to properly digest because...
You're not overthinking it, because you're more or less right on. I don't want to give too much away, since the album has only been out a week , but...
I suppose now is a good time to give some backstory to the album.
This was a massive pain to make, over the course of 7 years. Funny enough, all the songs were written quickly, since I've already had them planned out conceptually for a while. So, it was written within a year, whilst I was...
For the month of April, I got to watch 2 movies with apes.
Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire
As Saturday morning cartoony as it gets. The latest instalment of the Monsterverse has embraced the fact that nobody watches these for the human characters, thus having a lot of dialogue free moments...
It's the kind of arguments here that's why I don't want to limit myself to an instrument with nuanced specs. Sure, I already do since my main guitars are RGs and will remain so until I cark it. But I don't fear vintage features like neck joints, 6 point trems, compound radius necks or whatever...
So I'm having a lot of fun with my scalloped right converted lefty strat, but I'll need an Ibanez variant to play it on stage. Thankfully, they've got me covered.
I'll probably mod it with 2 Area 61 single coils and a Fantom HSP90 bridge as well as a full scalloped board.
