Bloodwood.

Good stuff... hard as a rock. Will clog sandpaper on machines as it gets hot. Sands fine by hand. Smells like cinnamon and the dust is not to bad. Still always wear a mask while working any exotic wood.

It is hard on tools.
Prone to splinter or split.
Tear out is usual when using router.
Titebond works great as a glue.
Polishes really well
Does not like oil finishes. Use a teak oil.
