Do a favor to yourself and skip 2-channel 900. It is total oposite of Hendrix sound. 800 2203/04 is great choice but they need some volume. Clean sound with volume pot is great, not pristine clean but full lush dynamic clean which perfectly sit in mix with 800 crunch. DSL is not bad either but...
I voted for Ironheart, very underrated amp with great features. On the other side, EVH50 is big letdown for me personally and still don't understand praise it gets beside its size.
MKV have better channel 1 and much better channel 2, I prefer MKIV lead channel over all modes on V. But I like Triaxis with good poweramp much more than both :)
If You will primary use lead channel, get IV and good reactive loadbox for same money as V.
Line6 M5 - only one effect per preset, effect are average quality, but reverbs and delays are good.
Nova System - not pedalboard friendly, effect are classic TC quality like G-major, I like some chorus, reverb and delay sounds.
I settled at Boss MS-3, it replaced my whole pedalboard besides...
I saw them live in small club at the begining of year. Maybe best live show of this year. Amazing voice and very “honest” performance. 6505+ some unknown 2x12 and that Horizon with Roman precise playing...sounded almost heavenly. Unfortunatelly after 2 songs he break string a changed guitar to...
For money, it is imho best solution. I recommend Harley Benton version with midi. Pros are written above. Cons, from my experience, are popping with some pedal (sometimes only first change of preset after start) and grounding thru all loops so there is risk of ground loops.
I had 2 and both were great but not so much to be a keepers.
LP 54 Custom, great finish, ebony board, Duncan P90 and Potbelly E-PO-100, more in PRS vein. Better than Korean LTDs but none of them have mahagony growl of Gibson guitar. I suspect origin of mahagony.
Tough one. RGA is great workhorse but not all play great. JP have better cratfmanship, playability and consistency among various guitars.
I recommend to look at Ibanez J Custom or Ibanez JPM, best of Ibanez world.
