Nice, I want to get one at some point. I have an EHB1006MS, which had a slightly raised fret, so fretless will pretty much solve that immediately.
I was going to get tapewounds, but since I don't have a fretless it's only hypothetical at the moment.
I'm not a car guy, but I immediately thought Speed Racer when I saw the guitars.
I looked for Speed Racer guitars, but I didn't see any worthy of the thread, unfortunately.
New things for May. Mostly some acoustics, but a lefty AZ Prestige and a pale moon ebony Q series in 6- and 7-string.
I've been wanting a fixed-bridge 25.5" seven string to tune up a half-step, so I'm pretty intrigued.
My RG2228 is more 'fduum'. My other fixed bridge instruments are more 'fdaam'. My Strandberg with its little metal saddles and floating bridge is more 'fdiing'.
None of it translates to any tone different when plugged in. But I like my RG2228 the most, acoustically.
I use .058 for B, just because that's the standard that comes with my Winspear 9s. Except for my 10-string, which has a .056 for B at 29". I experimented with heavier gauges, but quickly settled on 9s (and used 8s at one point).
The frustrating thing is that the longer you go, whilst you have...
When I saw comments on people wondering if it would be something with Strandberg, I thought to myself this is exactly why it won't be Strandberg. It's a good enough trem, but no way can it do what he would want it to.
Not including the relevant allen keys, I had a Strandberg branded pick with my Strandberg. I've had a couple of CDs in my various Ormsbys, and my limited edition Shark came with a pick and hammerhead shark-shaped bottle opener which was neat.
I like when it's small and not extraneous. Something...
There's this RGDR4527ET. Prestige.

I'll laugh my fucking ass off if it's an April Fool's Day joke. But a matching richlite top and fretboard looks sick.
As an Australian wanting a versatile multiscale instrument, I've settled on Ormsby's GTR line which is made in Korea. The only downside is there may not be stock left over for a run, so you may need to preorder.
Good pickups, stainless steel frets, good multiscale design, specs you can rarely...
