    For 25.5 7 strings I like 9-54. I don't consider that to be a crazy light gauge by any means. I like to be able to bend.

    Genesis RG550, LTD 1000 range, and PRS SE. Genesis gets my vote, both of mine were setup by Rich @Ibanez Rules (one platinum, one silver). They are probably my best playing guitars. I would put them up against any high end guitar.

    Not suhr about that. But I think you should put whatever pickups in it you want. You can always keep them that way your have the originals if you want to sell it later on. Let other people get suhrley if they want. It’s your guitar.

    Given a choice of those two I would go with the Ibanez, I think the fretwork is better on Prestige. Granted I’ve played tons of prestige and only one Virtuoso. I happen to like the aesthetics of the binding and the natural back, that finish on the Ibanez is dope.

    Pre prestige Japanese made is the the way I go more often than not, though I have 4 ESP original series that I play too. Plugged into my 5153 50 watt. Though I do enjoy my Peavey Supreme160 and Crate GX130C when I want to go full old school or just create something filthy and different.
