Yup i still have both cabs. The recto 2x12 is still the best cab i've used. I'd say it's bit tighter and more defined than the theile cab. The Theile Cab does sound big for a 1x12, but the the low end is a little more woofy vs tight low-mid for the recto 2x12. Plus the 2x12 has the V30's which i prefer vs the theile's black shadow. I use them together though and it sounds great. If it's was me i'd definitely get the 2x12.
By the way, i also have the mini recto 1x12, which is not as good as either. Not a lot of low end, kinda low-fi sounding (like most 1x12's) but still good defnintion and overall tone - but next to the 2x12 it's seriously lacking! Hope this helps you out! -
