i took a little round file to the corners of the cavities and a tiny amount on the sides and slowly worked away until they just started to slide in. i actually don't have screws in them right now because it's tight enough that they just stay where i put them but loose enough that i can adjust the height with ease. i should probably put screws in cuz i think i have them where i want them now lol
