  • As with myself. Hume completely changed my view of science and helped, to a degree, solidify my understanding that logic and epistemology are the real bases of knowledge.
Philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of logic, philosophy of language, and epistemology. I like the usual guys: Frege, Russell (and Whitehead, for that matter), Wittgenstein, and Gödel. The non-logic philosophy I'm influenced by is stuff like Galen Strawson's argument against free-will (I've found not a one argument to convince me that we possess such a thing) and Robert Nozick's experience machine scenario. I was asked to write about the justified true belief account of knowledge - that's one other thing which interests me. I see logic and epistemology as a perfect pairing.
Sometimes I think that I ought to ask if there are any other philosophers on SS.org. Good to hear from you, Luke. What parts of philosophy interest you particularly?
