I use a Tremol-no in my guitars but that's cause I need the trems to function, one of the other things to consider is that once you take all the strings off for a restring the Tremol-no won't be able to handle that tension change so you'll have to unlock it anyway which still leaves you tuning...
They're not though, the Classic Vibes and Contemporaries are Squier's top end, Affinity is literally the second step in their pricing structure after Bullets.
Also I also think that Squier now, actually Fender now in general have really great quality control, and some of the custom shop stuff...
Tremol-Nos are super convenient, there is definitely a bit of mechanical resistance that they add so if you wanna do like Polyphia style flutters it's a bit detrimental but I'm not super heavy on the trem, I use it for a bit of vibrato and odd bends and stuff so I don't need it to be super...
The Fluences were okay, it's just that they're active and they feel it, it makes my right hand really uncomfortable to play with something that compresses that much so I got some Duncans instead cause I'm a big fan of the Peg/Sen set and I also work for the Seymour Duncan agents in South Africa...
