I think there's a good bit of us that have some hardcore nostalgia for The Faceless. It's the old man in me coming out, but new music doesn't hit the same as it did back then....
Feels like Chapman is just cash grabbing in every direction and doesn't mind throwing his name on actual trash. It's kinda wild how many people like this dude despite his playing gives a vibe of unmemorable worship band.
On some of the songwriting discords I'm in, they have Monthly songwriting challenges.... Could be something we arrange on the forum here. Have a monthly listening party for all the contenders.
I like how the first response was the easy button, but OP never acknowledges it. I'd imagine the dude changed hobbies and is now asking asking woodworking forums how to spin the lathe backwards.
There's quite a few free options. The best way to find an instrument with that qualities you're looking for is to Google something like 'Free VST Piano Reddit"
I spent a bunch of time with Vital and it's a free synth... it was CPU heavy so keep that in mind. https://vital.audio/
It looks like Garageband isn't a compatible DAW for Neural DSP products, but turning off Apple's malware filter (not recommended) can make it work. https://unity.neuraldsp.com/t/garage-band-issue/2330/8

I discovered this recently as someone I was collabing with had GGD midi and wanted Superior Drummer multitracks. I tried to find any easy way to decipher the GGD midi mapping, but their support tab on the website redirects to a Facebook group. LMAO.
This news was unexpected, but truly appreciated. Imma try to snatch a ticket to show support.
