    I've done this, and was happy with results. That tool looks decent, I've got the stewmac diamond asymmetrical flat V file that looks like like the above, but in retrospect I wish it was a curve, so I wouldn't have to think about moving it around.     EMG 57 / 66 set vs Passive Set for 81 / 60 Loaded Guitars

    If you like the PAF tone, EMG 57/66 are great. It's definitely different than plain passives, has that typical active sustain, some compression, but it's a very nice tone, and I like it in all woods.
