    Thanks for the input guys! The guitar comes with SH-6 Duncan Distortion pickups on both the bridge and neck. I will play with them and see if they fit what i want. One last question, if comparing BKP Silos to BKP Aftermaths...how do they differ??

    Hi guys, getting a RR3 in the next few weeks...trying to figure out what pickups to put in. I mainly play thrash and prog metal. I am considering Bare Knuckle Pickups...in particular either the Silo or Aftermath in the bridge and a cold sweat in the neck...i might be down tuning to C...

    The common conclusion with PB1 is that it did not cut through the mix. PB2 got a bigger output transformer that solved the problem. I have played both and think PB2's "grind" or "saturation" is a bit more organic than PB1..
