  • Tis alright man, no hard feelings.
Like you said, its the internet, right?

    See you around friend.
And I'll hit you back up on that rep ;)
Sweet man, thanks! One more question for you though, how similar would you say your recorded tone sounds to your regular tone?
But Chris's teaching = :lame:. He was a really cool guy and all but just meh I dont know. He wasnt very committed to making me a better guitarist and believe it or not that factor in a teacher does make a huge difference. My first teacher I had was actually muccccchhhhh better at teaching and he was at Brodericks level of musicianship and whatnot. Oh and linkz to that thread i cant find it [IMG]. Do you use AIM?
Hey dude i think we can learn something from each other! Ive been really into per nilssons playing for a while now just like you :D. Like realllllllllly into it. So i have figured out some of his secrets :squint:.
Quick question for you man, what did you guys use to record your songs that you have up on myspace? That tone is pretty kickass :yesway:
I wont neg you, just cause its a stupid online rep thing...I could care less.
And if you didnt re-read my other posts, I was only fucking with you guys, I really am NOT that serious.
But I guess you can decide that for yourself =\

Nah, no luck. Just willingness, determination, and a little bit of cash. I've done it before, back in 2004. Super duper long story short, my (now ex) girlfriend and I had to leave because she got really (REALLY) sick and the doctors there didn't know what to do with her -- turned out to be chronic stages of lyme's disease. Crazy. Anyway, where the luck (and dedication) comes in is that I'm kind of a 'big fish in a small pond' as far as the DnB scene goes there -- helped start/run the island's exclusive all DnB event Subphonix (myspace/subphonix) and that spun into multiple events, all of which my crew still run. Summer before last I went back there and opened up for John B, which was a sweet goal to check off my list long before I thought I'd ever get to! :)

Anyway, now that I've got a good couple of years of great job experience where I'm at and have some money saved up, I'm ready to go back finally. Took me 3 years longer than I would have liked, but what can you do? ;)

As far as a market for metal on the island goes, I don't really think it's there from what I saw, but I was clearly focused on other things so it's hard for me to say..
I sure hope I'm still around when you do!! Current plan is to move back to Honolulu, Hawaii at the end of this summer.
Bro, you shred. "Wreathed In Flame" and "To Engulf All Creed" are fucking epic! I'll definitely support and get the album
Damn dude your tone is nasty, it sounds so heavy, I would never have thought drop D. Glad to see you are upgrading to the 7s, I am debating which to use myself in a new band I just joined.
I have to say I was just listening to Traces and you guys are nuts dude. I see that you actually aren't playing a 7-string in that band so what is your 6 tuned to?
Haha, you don't even know me, and chances are you never will.
Surely a mature individual as yourself wouldn't try and form an accurate opinion of someone based on how they act on a Forum :p?
You're telling me to grow up and stop being childish, yet you're not grown up enough to handle someone elses opinion, irony at it's finest :D
