    One thing that I didn't think about that BKP mentioned was all of the electronic need to be changed when going from active to passive. So I am debating getting this or the RG1027PBF.

    Does anyone else know if the Warpigs will work as they are? I guess since the route is 808s it will have to have the 8 string pups.

    I was wondering about that too, but I have seen other 7 string FF guitars with 7 string pickups and look like regular pickups even. So that is what is confusing about this.

    I'm looking at maybe getting one of these. I want to put BK Warpigs in it though, not sure if I need the 7 string or 8 string version, I'm thinking 8, but wanted to see what others said.

    I'm not sure that I really need the single coil, I have a JEM and Strats with singles.

    I do like that RG7 a lot, seems to offer a lot more than the reissue UV70p, I had looked at the RG752 also, seems nice, but not sure the Prestige is giving me anything the RG7 isn't. The frets on the Prestige maple are not end finished.

    That's what I feel too, I really like the neck on the RG as well as the maple fretboard. Actually they both have the Edge Zero II bridge.

    I wish. :) I wonder if the lack of Ti rods will make much difference? Since the Prestige doesn't include even have them.

    Any real difference between the UV70p and the RG7PCMLTD? Other than finish? I really like the 11 piece neck on the LTD, but the green dot Universe has always been nice too. :shred:
