Hmm, a T2 will have as much or almost as much gain as those amps, a drier tone / less saturation. More bass and tighter bass out of the box, without pedals anyway. Better cleans than the Peavey... the Ampeg cleans are good and it has a built in chorus. The Randall has MIDI and an FX loop with level and return sends which can be helpful for FX live or when playing at bedroom volumes.
Thanks for the advice on the v2, I do have another question tho. I seem to be having issues with assigning the eq and effects. I save them and 90% of the time it works and the other it will not recall the eq when switching channels. Have you seen this, I'm wondering if it's a power issue, if you were to pull all power from the amp say to move it to a gig will it still store what the eq was assigned to. And any experience with running the boss ns2 x pattern?
I may eventually get a hold of a Green Rhino. Still unsure. Won't be until way later on, though, since I'm fine with my BM.
Yeah, it doesn't have a lot of mids, strangely. That's why I pan it all the way on one side, and pan something like the Lynch Box Grail or Threadplate on the other side. I think those tracks I showed you were all T2, though.
haha yeah man the both of us had matching pods, and to the best of my knowledge we were the only ones that did this so it's gotta be his old one
haha not mine, when i sold mine the buyer wanted the strip off, but this is definitely "tones" 's old hd300, i know he left his blue led strip on when he upgraded to his hd500
hey man. where do you email for those RD5s with cosmetic issues? I seriously would love to score one. i have the money right now thankfully.
sorry for the late reply. I don't think of ever selling it, it's my fav guitar :)
But when it comes the time, I'll let you know.
Hey I've got some tube questions for you, I'm planning on changing the V2's tubes. the amp has way too much of a hissy sound when adjusting/raising the presence and Treble knobs.
