I appreciate the help in narrowing down the right years to get a CE for what i was looking to get, but I had a couple questions about the singlecuts. I use my Holcomb as an example of how a Custom 24 feels and according to the specs if i go with a Tremonti singlecut, the neck carve would be the same as my Holcomb's? I dont really wanna go thicker than the Wide Thin/Pattern Thin carve. My next question would be whether higher fret access gets impeded with the additional bodywood by the pickup selector? I know I reference the Holcomb all the time, and I should just get a second one but they just dont come up that often lol. And when they do, im usually not in the position to get it. Im selling off my KXK Sii7 to try and prepare lol

Get a second holcomb then.

Yes the sc will have worse fret access, nature of 99% of singlecuts. Only the tremonti core sc has a wide-thin unless a shop does a special run. I like pattern/wide-fat so most SC’s feel great to me.

I dont see many Tremonti cores come up but they do come up.

Maybe let some stores like Brians Guitars and Willcutt know you’re after a holcomb and they can help?

If you have found what you love and want to double up, double up. Anything else wont scratch that itch imo.
