Third time's the charm when it came to finding the right Majesty 7. For some time, I thought maybe it was just the 6s that I could gel with, but this time around I found the one to really hit the spot. Of course now my bank account is screaming at me, but my hands, eyes, and ears are all satisfied.
It's a SW Exclusive finish called Sapphire Iris - has a very Violet Andromeda way about it. Although I like it, it does seem a bit off the spectrum from what's shown on the store page and in the reference photos - but I still appreciate all the shades within the spectrum of pearlescence.
Being it's a 2024 model, it's got the Dreamcatcher/Rainmaker - which sound great. The setup was on point out of the box. The painted neck has the EBMM magic that keeps it feeling super slick and not easy to jam up on slides. I love Majesty guitars, so it's a no brainer that I was gonna love this one.
Ironically I described myself having a "Cosmic Connection" with my Majesty 6, and this thing comes out looking like a guitar that's delivered from the heart of the Cosmos no less.

I was looking at that color. But, then there is the green and the pacific blue sparkle. Hard to decide. Sweetwater is on point with those unique finishes.

That finish is ridiculous! I'm not up on Majesty's, when did they start recessing the switches like that?

If you're willing to wait a little longer and go big, the blue BFR coming later this year looks great.

That's my favorite color I have seen of these. Congratulations! If they offered this color and started offering a baritone scale 6 (like they did for the JP6 for a time), I would be unable to not buy one.

Might be thinking of the JP15/# models, which IIRC have traditionally mounted switches.

Happy NGD!

Sweetwater always have the best exclusive finishes. Eclipse Sparkle was sick as well.

God these look so much better without that stupid shovel design. Enjoy it Northfall!
God solid-color Majesties look so much better than the ones with the stupid shovel. HNGD!
As far as I'm concerned this is tasteful (also my first of 4 Majesties now) otherwise - I tend to agree that most of the shovels are pretty lame though. But a few are done ok.

Played with a guy who had a Majesty for a while. His was dark blue. Can't remember if it had the shield thing. Seemed like a super solid axe, and it sounded great.
He didn't have it for long before he sold it though. I guess he was just more of a Mayones guy, because that's what he ended up getting instead.

I like the color of yours! That's just pure sex

Yeah the Artisans and the later models where the shovel is just figuring and not the etched carbon fiber look is tasteful.

I love Majesties and that finish looks amazing! So much better than Sweetwater's photos make it out to be.
