Real cool guitars from Japan : Edwards LPxxx. Maybe a LP130 in Tobacco Burst with Duncan Antiquities and a too thin neck to be a Les Paul for me.
I want to sell it every two months and change my mind.

I removed the pickguard. Really cool instrument. Not less than a Gibson LP Standard.

Tough as hell to take decent pics in my the living room Tone Colosseum thanks to the sun, but I took a few anyway today.

As a guitarist first, I've always played bass more as a chore to fill out songs ideas in the studio and didn't go all-in on a bass amp. But this year I decided to pick up a real bass amp for the first time, Hartke LH1000 (tube preamp) and 4x10 cab, and MAN what a difference. Now I have to take bass more seriously. Very inspired by the Hartke setup and my LTD B-1005SE multiscale ( 37" / 34 ") with rosewood top and Nordstrand Big Splits. When it comes to bass, I'm a big John Taylor fan and need to grab an Aria Pro II Oak 4-string (JT Sig).

My MkIV + Thiele and Boss DD500 are always there, but the guitars and other pedals change every few weeks. Lately I've been reconnecting with the '91 Charvel 650 Custom with EMGs, which is so good it's almost cheating....

Threw in an old pic of the 650 with much better res.

There was a white 650XL on Reverb and I almost bought it. My wife said it was ugly so I bought a PRS instead (which cost me a good chunk more too lol!). I already have a tricked out Model 6, so the 650XL would probably have been somewhat redundant.

The 650 is worth it because it has a fully modern German Schaller Floyd. And the 650 Custom was important to me specifically because it has a no-fade white finish.

Yeah I replaced the JT-6 with a German made OFR. The function of the JT-6 was fine, but the standard string spacing threw me off. All of my other guitars are F-spaced. The white 650XL I looked at was turning kind of yellow. How did you keep yours so white?

I bought the 650 Custom, made in '91 only. 😎 They changed the formula for the finish that year so it wouldn't yellow. I also have a near twin brother to it, '92 Jackson Soloist Pro MIJ with zero fade to the white finish.

I need to take a pic of all favorite white guitars together, which I call the Four Horsemen. Charvel 650, Jax Soloist, Jax Adrian Smith with ebony board, and Edwards Les Paul Custom.

Was back in the US last week. Pulled a few of my Parkers out of storage to clean them and change the strings, so I took a group photo.

Brought the Southern NiteFly back with me on the plane (will be doing the same with the others 1 by 1 on future trips).
I was cleaning and rearranging stuff today and thought I'd take a group shot of the UK half of the collection.

Classic, Artist, 5-string Fly Bass, Stealth, Southern NiteFly.

Then, while taking that, my boy decided he should be part of the shoot.

He and his sister share a single brain cell and apparently today, she was using it.
