  • Howdy, quick question about your Twin Jet settings you posted here: were those with or without a boost?

Thanks for the info! There's a lot more to it than I would have thought. I'll have to try out some of those settings over the next few days too

Also, I should probably mention, if you like classic Marshalls, the TJ's channel 1 is almost identical to a 2203 circuit if you do the following things:
Depth off, channel presence off, master volume as high as you can go without getting the cops called on you (preferably maxed). Use channel volume as your volume knob, master presence as "presence" on the 2203, B/M/T/Gain work like they do on the 2203.

[continued because of character limit]If you want "sweet spot" 2203 tones at almost reasonable volumes, put the channel volume where you'd ideally put it on a 2203, and adjust the master volume to taste. If you want to get just a bit of boosted flavor while going straight in, try turning channel presence up to 9'o clock to 10'o clock
Yeah i feel the same when i mixed them. I'm looking to find something that mixes well with it. Not sure what i want to try though.

If you didn't do that on purpose, then I feel like a jerk, as though I just insulted you.
And if you did do that on purpose, I feel like an idiot for taking so long in seeing it.

Please tell me I am the idiot one.

Thanks for the advice on the signal path. Im gonna give that a try when im at the studio next week.
