I used to be huge into Cradle of Filth. Dusk and Her Embrace is still one of my favourite albums, and Midian is definately good as well. The last album of theirs I bought was Nymphetamine, and aside from the title track, the album was pretty boring. I also got pretty irritated for them...
I listened to Liberation = Termination today, well the first few songs and some of the middle and then the last few songs (I fell asleep on the bus :) ) and they sound pretty good. It was enjoyable, but not completely memorable. However, that's what I thought the first time I listened to Dark...
That was a pretty good song, I'm checking out more of their stuff now. I looked for a myspace page and they reserved one but NOTHING is done on it yet, someone needs to get up on that shit.
Seeing all those bands together in one post, along with taking bands like Beneath the Massacre and Quo Vadis into context (and don't get me wrong, Quo Vadis is one of my fav bands and one of the best live shows I've seen) it seems that most of these Montreal metal bands have one thing in common...
I'm looking around for the same stuff, so good luck. I just started listening to Element MySpace.com - ELEMENT - Metal / Death Metal / Industrial - www.myspace.com/elementneodeath "Hi Tech Killing" and "Smoke" are good songs. I think the band would sound a lot better with death metal...
Saw these videos not too long ago. Amaranth is a beautiful song and Bye Bye Beautiful is a piece of shit. I can't believe they a) wrote that song and b) thought it was good enough to make a video aboot.
Wow, that must've been an amazing concert. I just found out about Dethklok in the past couple weeks since Metalocalypse isn't on TV here and no one told me about it :o But I found all the episodes on Tubearoo. Actually watching those live vids I'm not sure if I could really accept them...
Just got Bolt Thrower - Those Once Loyal last week as well as the Dissection DVD. Those Once Loyal is pretty good! Bolt Thrower as usual. I wouldn't say it's as good as Honour Valour Pride, but still rockin. The Dissection DVD was weird... pretty good sound and production quality, very...
I know this is an old thread, but damn that is a beautiful Ironbird. I have a black Korean 6 string with an X2N and I love it, except for the annoying fact that I had to relocate the strap button since it's too neck-heavy. I'm very surprised they let them out of the factory like that :P
Wouldn't something like that be a tad neck-heavy? I had to reposition my strap button just to get my Ironbird to sit level... that looks like it would be a lot worse.
