Being a huge cannibal corpse fan I'm gonna be using Ab and Bb tuning quite a bit, just wondered what gauges you'd recommend for Ab tuning, I'm currently looking at D'addario 14-68's.....this is on a 6 string btw :hbang:

Those scales look pretty awesome, I've found doing alot of diminished and minor arpeggios are easier thatn traditional shapes, I find chords to be the best thing about this tuning, adding massive octaves and adding in the 9th's and 7th's is awesome, aswell as playing some jazzy sequences, best...

The intro for Obzen by Meshuggah gets my head going, intro for sacrifice unto sebek by Nile and perverse suffering by cannibal corpse are pretty beastly aswell :hbang:

Hey there, I use open c all the time and tune my 6 down to open B, licks wise ermm id say that you can use 3 string major arrpegios for diminished down and i found it makes it 10x easier to do a diminished run, chords sounds great and easier when adding 9ths and major 7ths :yesway:

Yup I have and loved the thing, I'm basically just a death metal guy with the occasional prog stuff thrown in so like I'm just after the brutal distortion, ambient cleans and screaming, glassy leads, so I'm not asking for much really ha :yesway:

For me it was first hearing Linchpin by Fear factory and hearing Here to Stay by Korn, at that point I needed to go down to A, as soon as I saw SYL in total guitar with open C and a low G that was it and I wnated the seven right there :hbang:

After much delegation I've settled on getting myself a Vetta II as the boys from Meshuggah have godly tones coming from those things so I was just asking what people thought of them or if anyones had any experience with the things cheers :hbang:
