    Jackson RR24

Ok people, as well as me definately getting a SC608 I'm highly interested in the RR24 and will also be definately getting it, I'll be tuning it to standard Bb to keep up with Cannibal corpse, the only thing I'm worried about is the Floyd Rose, as I've never dealt with one I'd have a damn hard...

Cannibal Corpse Dean sig Cadillac (hilarious)

Being a huge CC fan I'll say now that they used 6's up to Vile and even then Barrett used a 6 for Bb, when he left Pat and Jack carried on using 7's up to The Wretched Spawn although Jack did use a 7 on some songs, once he left Pat and Rob stayed on 6's as Pats excuse that he didn't like the...

    ESP SC608

Cheers for all the help guys, think 80 would probably be the best bet really, although if I really cant be arsed to tune like that I might just keep it in standard and see what I can do with that, at the mo finding open C a bit limiting, cheers for the specs aswell :hbang:

    ESP SC608

well my guitars tuned to open C major so its CGCGCE but obviously adding a lower G and E, I use 10-52 and those are great, really wanted to know what id use for the low G and E and yeah I like tight tension for the lower strings :yesway:

    ESP SC608

Thanks to the help from you guys on here I've decided to go bag myself a SC608, as I only get to use the inernet at work during lunch I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some specs of this beast and string gauge suggestions, i'll still use 10-52 for open C and like a 66 or 68 for...

    GASSS!!!!

Cheers for all the support guys, I use a seven already tuned to GCGCGCE and I love it, makes soloing sound just a bit more tasty lol, I'd a low E for like the song possessions by syl pretty beasty sounding, I'll deffinately check the sc608 out, as a bass player already I think the 27" will feel...

A friend mine also has an ENGL, the invader I think, although I havn't heard him use his seven on it yet, I had a look at the Vetta II seemed pretty amazing when I heard Meshuggah using them, since theyre solid state do they have the whole classic thing or wearing out after a long period of use...

    GASSS!!!!

Haha yeah but first ibanez will have to do it first and make ESP jealous of their slightly lower prices and availability, if I do get the Stef B-7 I might get some lundgrens n try em out, what make of amp would u recommend for a tuning as low as G, i'd use Line 6 if I liked digital sounding...

    GASSS!!!!

Yer that is true, shame Ibanez can't get off their ass and see people want something that resembles meshuggahs customs, at least blackmachine have taken notice but don't give us a low enough price for us mere workers:ugh:

    GASSS!!!!

Wow an 80, I heard Devy uses a 60 on his baritone 7 I'll have to buy a few gauges around the 70 section as 60 for me at the mo is fairly crap, my guitar aint really designed to go anything below standard B really, nothing wrong with that but I love shredding in open C , cheers for helping me out...

    GASSS!!!!

Ha nice think 110 might be a bit much for me like, I may just get the Stef B-7 first to get used to the whole 27" scale although being a bass player aswell I should be fine, thinking about getting a peavey 6505, basically need something that will keep that low G sounding nice n tight, thinking...

Do you have any specs at all on the stef 8 like bridge wise, since I'll be using some pretty thick gauges for a low E I want to make sure the tuning stability is perfect, think some locking tuners will help at all?:yesway:

    GASSS!!!!

I have only heard good about the Stef B-7, apart from the whole pinch harmonic thing which i think was sorted, at the mo I'm kinda getting stuck in a rut of not liking the whole 7 string chugga thing so I think the 8 or just me changing my amp (which will be soon) so hopefully I can start...

    GASSS!!!!

I am tending to lean towards to the Stef models, I'd most probably want to tune it open C with an added G and E for more Strapping young lad stuff, cheers for the advise, you got any idea of the release date for that beast? :shred:

    GASSS!!!!

True, but at the mo I doubt my bank budget will be able to stretch to the prices ESP will be giving, trying to get any good ESP stuff in England is ermm poor
