    Kid shreds at NAMM

Anton Oparin is really really good. He covers a lot of paganini with ease. But don't get discouraged guys. There will always be bigger fish. There will always be some kid who sat in his bedroom longer than you and learned to play way harder shit than you etc. It's all about the music you...

Andy James Guitar Solo Contest entry Sam Bell

Yeah man for real. If I saw a guy shredding his ass off at a concert and he was makin those faces I'd be like 'this is my new favorite band' period. Its like watching that 70s band focus live. their singer made some whack faces and everyone ate it up

Not sure where i should post this but.....

Don't settle for a jerk just because it is convenient for you. I say play your music, get renown, and then continue your search after you have fans sitting at home playing your songs all day anyhow. lol But seriously, if a guy is hard to work with in the beginning then there is no chance down...

Goof riff at 2:13. and 3:03 - 3:30 was also pretty pro. Solo was pretty good and the pause at 5:20 was a great way to seal the deal. thumbs up bro

    Nevermore, Wintersun, and Necrophagist.

I've been rather anxious about the new necrophagist album too. With Muenzner gone, I don't know what it is going to be like. "Dawn of demise" was ok, but I didn't like it as much as the stuff from epitaph. But I do want to hear a recorded version of the solo to "dawn of demise", because sami...

    Howdy

This forum is great. I totally needed to join. I've been playing since 2006. I like all music really. But anything that is heavy and progressive is what I like most. Specifically Nevermore, Dream theater, Meshuggah, Necrophagist, Symphony X, etc.
