You can get 3-packs of thick single guitar strings for pretty cheap from GC. They have the small ball ends too so they'll fit in your bridge. Somewhere around $3 or $4. For future reference! :]

I recently picked up a JPX 6 and JP12 7. Called EBMM about it and they said that they were getting a bunch of complaints about the inlay (something about being too gaudy) so they went with the plate stamp instead. Personally, I like the old inlay but it is how it is. To echo the other comments...

Not sure if I'm just pulling this out of my rear but aren't 12s a bit snug for Ab? If you're using them for the first 6, that is. Being that the other strings are only dropped a half step I stick to 10s.

This guy. Aaron friggin' Marshall. I had heard plenty of other guys with 7s: Trooch, Periphery, Scale the Summit, Korn, etc. but none of them really pushed me to get one. The moment I heard In Time by Intervals I thought "Okay. I'm getting one the moment I have enough coin." :bowdown:

thanks! The neck and fretboard are definitely different from the headstock. Finished differently but I'm not sure what they used for the headstock vs the neck. The sun does seem to accentuate that difference quite a bit though lol. I'll look into it man! thank you! I'm loving this combo more...

I'm not sure, honestly. It's the only one with an ebony fretboard (which was a huuuge selling point for me). I'm not too fond of the Majesty but out with the old, in with the new I suppose.
