Just in popularity, if any signature models actually are known to be especially popular. What you said was interesting considering how many time I was looking at the ESP website - curious about the models, especially sigs not that I know most of their artists, that didn't make it to our part of...
Sorry to get back to an older (well, not that old...) post, but out of curiosity: do you happen to know if any signature guitars for Japanese artists stand out compared to the (low) standard you mention? At least relatively. Not talking about ESP specifically, but I know less about other brands...
Grats! Curved top superstrats are even less of "my thing" than the standard ones, but even I can't not say this is cool on account of the finish combined with the angles on it.
I wasn't sure if Dean was one of the companies to play exclusives for Japan, but I guess most Japanese bands aren't really popular enough in the West to warrant a worldwide release. Wata's Earthquaker Devices fuzz is probably the only exception and that's a different kind of product with...
Do want TBH. Maybe not enough to actually buy one with that outlandish of a design tho, lol. But if I ever get into DIY, I know this is a design I would copy. Would probably be more authentic anyway.
Honestly, as of now I just want something to play around in software. Better than the aforementioned cable, at least. Not at the level of actually micing things yet. Also, I'm in Poland so no GC. The only used 3rd gen is basically the price of a new one on Thomann - and only the Solo model. Oh...
Getting pretty sick of the Rocksmith cable I tried to get by instead of using an interface, so now I'm looking for an actual one, lol. There was a local classified for a decently cheap pickup-only Scarlett Solo 2nd gen in my city, but the offer disappeared overnight. Not sure if someone...
Bought a cheap Harley Benton bass (PJ) and after over a month of stock issues, it finally came in. Also, a while ago I was lamenting missing out on an Orange OR15... and over 2 months later another one appeared. I couldn't resist and I got it. Oh. And they came in at the same day, so there's that.
Been mildly curious about the OG POD, maybe the OG Pod Pro too. The latter mostly because My Dying Bride used them way after they became obsolete and maybe some of the early Fear Factory, but it still might be too high-end to be interesting? Not sure how the cab modelling was on the earlier pro...
Well, there it is. Demo probably not exactly in SSO vein, but Dave is good people. He was a massive fan of the original Crush 120, so if that's the first youtuber demo, then it's nice to see.
If you're talking purely neck dive issues, I think the advantage of Gibson would be the Keystone tuner buttons. I put some cheapo plastic buttons on my Epi SG and that cured probably most of the neck dive. Looking to maybe fully change them to Gotoh Kluson-likes in the future, might help even more.
Absolutely amazing. I like my binding, which this might not have but prefer plain tops so much over the traditional fancy ones. And Wine Red is so much cooler color than the Cherry Red they offer on the Classics.
