The Crushinator Guitar is my 1986 Ibanez RG410 with an EMG 85. It's four tracks & two different amp models (Uberschall & Big Bottom). Two are panned hard left/right, & two are 75% left/right at a lower volume level. Tuning is CGCGCE. Yes, I'm sloppy. :hbang: :hbang: :hbang: :shred:

Thanks guys! All my lead clips are totally tongue-in-cheek, I have no real idea what I'm doing. Glad you dug it. It's two consecutive takes, the 1st on the left, & the 2nd on the right. I intended to try & piece together 1 track from the 2, but decided to hell with it & left 'em both there. :)

"Flabby" makes me think string gauge. I use a 10-46 6 string set & add a .064 7th (Ernie Ball).

After listening to it for a couple of days, I agree, so I ran it through the eq again looking for a little more meat from the guitars.

I have tones I love using the Uberschall, 6505, & Big Bottom amps, but have had no luck yet with the Recto model.

Do you have it uploaded to the library? That amp has been the biggest disappointment to me with my GuitarPort; I cannot get a tone out of it that I like for the life of me.

Buy the metal pack, download a bunch of the patches here in the library, & you'll be in good shape. :)

Nope, not me. I have a pretty heavy picking hand, & A felt too floppy with a .064 for me on a 25.5", & on my 24.75" guitar the low A would wowwww out of tune. My 7 is tuned to standard & I went to a .064 on it, too.

I use a .135 5th string on my bass & a .064 6th string on my guitars, & I still went up to Bb from A! You guys dropping down to G are insane! :D (Clip rocks, BTW!)

You might consider the RiffTracker package for the computer, that's what I use. It comes with the GuitarPort & recording software & drum loops. You'll want to buy the metal pack as well, & those two purchases should be about $300 total.

Robin-034 Amp model is the Uberschall w/clean boost, reverb, delay, & chorus. Cab model is a 4x12 cab w/V30's. Guitar is my Dean ZX with a Duncan Distortion bridge pup, tuned (low to high) Bb-F-Bb-F-Bb-F. Bass is my Schecter Stiletto Deluxe 5 string. Cheers! :hbang: :shred:
