I did all kinds of sales gigs before I got into writing software. And really, it's all the same regardless of the field. You can get away with a lot more when you produce. My advice would be to focus on busting your ass and sell sell sell. Once you have a solid track record, you'll get picked on...
I currently use Logic. For a while I was thinking about switching to ProTools. Instead, I started learning how to be more efficient in Logic, and learn more about my plugins. Now that I've found a workflow that works for me, I've decided to stay with logic.
The remake of I Spit on Your Grave is pretty intense, although it's really more shocker gore than horror. Tales From The Darkside: The Movie is always a good bet.
That sounds like what I'm trying to do. I use BFD, and have been banging my face on their sequencer for years. I just recently tried to take the programming out of BFD and into Logic. Still working on getting everything setup properly, but it's already looking a lot more flexible.
I'd go for a SM7B all day long, and use it on damn near everything in the room lol. EQ and compression always vary a good bit for me depending on the vocalist and the performance, so I'd be hesitant to suggest anything to specific. However, for screaming, the SoundToys Decapitator always finds...
Really digging the song man! It moves around a good bit, and still retains a really solid pocket and flow. What are you using for guitar and drum tones?
My dad and I were debating how Kelly would fare in the NFL last weekend. I guess we'll find out. Although, I really wish he were going somewhere other than Philly. I'd love to see the Bills return to prominence.
You could try sliding some playing cards under the bridge, so it doesn't bottom out when you release the tension of the strings. Then as long as you are restringing with the same gauge, you can take them off, clean with some 0000 steel wool and linseed oil and restring it back up. Getting it...
I'm not sure how amps vary case by case. But, I can say I've been running my dual rec with 2 tubes removed, though the 8 ohm out, into an 8 ohm Avatar 212 for about as long as I can remember with no adverse effects thus far.
I'd probably suggest something like an AMT SS30 or Engl e530 plus a power amp that's flexible enough to accept different tube types. I have an e530 going into a 6v6 Orange power section and Orange cab that I absolutely love. It's even more nuts when boosted.
