I think "homework" is what I'm doing by getting the opinions of those who have played them before :P For clarification, I'm not asking for people to research the guitars for me, I've done that already. I just want to know what others think of them who have played them because I haven't.
Backstory: Deciding I really don't have much use for an 8 = Selling my SC-608B Plastic guitar sounds like plastic even if it costs 5 grand and glows = Selling my Ibanez Jem20th Playing a JP6 for the first time at a guitar center = Heaven Here's my dilemma, I'll have the cash for...
I don't have photoshop so i used GIMP. I did it in like 15-30 minutes so i know it's the crappiest photoshop ever. Discuss. EDIT: SPECS! 5 PC Maple/Wenge Neck-Thru Mahogany Body Flame Maple Top Reversed Headstock Hardtail bridge W/ Piezo Saddles for Midi+Acoustic Maple Fretboard +...
Nice job sanding it haha I tried doing exactly the same thing to my 1527 with an electric sander and screwed up the edges pretty bad (forgot how soft basswood was). Now I have no more 1527 body :( (or rather a misshapen one with a screwed up neck joint), at least the neck wasn't touched. Anyway...
I'm pretty stoked. I'm going to penn state now for computer engineering and despise it. Music is where my heart has always been and I'd love to do that for a living. Been brushing up on my sight reading and blues improvisation like crazy. Any tips or anything that you think might impress the...
Lol she only gets it until I get back :P Anyone know about the proper graph tech nut size for the 7321? I heard the carvin one was the right one just wanna make sure
So I won an auction for a 7321FM on the bay a little while ago. 329 for the guitar in new condition + Dsonic + cliplock strap. Only problem is I'm at college and it was shipped to my house, so I can't touch it yet, my mom was kind enough to take some pictures for me though My sister...
Sick song! Only things i can think of is that the guitars definitely sound a little "open" for lack of a better word. Maybe a bit less of a scoop and a boost around the 2200hz range for a little more body to the sound. Other than that love it!
Well mechanically yes but I would think that an all tube fender amp would be farther from a triple rec than a solid state modeller :P. I'm selling the SV with the head.
I've never biased my amp but I'm prolly going to be selling it soon anyway... EDIT: Tubes don't work well for the low tuning stuff either... meshuggah doesn't use solid state for no reason :P Anyway even if my amp was biased properly (which I think it is) it's not a Mesa triple rec... I...
It's hard to describe. like if you imagine a sine wave... on my amp the peaks would be spread out more vs being really close together on a solid state. I've played it with many different guitars and pickups and yeah that affects it but in general the tubes just don't give the same... powerful...
