    Chinese Fakemachine build thread

But doesn't everyone have the $500k for a brand new Lambo? It's almost not even worth it to argue with these guys, man. Just let them be angry they can't bring themselves to be happy with what they have.

I find the "it's not a real Blackmachine" argument hilarious. Of course it's not. But it's worth much closer to $400 than a B2 or B6 is to $5000. :P

    Interesting Chord Progressions

So you send me exactly what I'm looking for, with a video, while your profile pic has you in a segmentata holding a gladius? I feel like the rest of us need to start stepping up our SSO game. XD

    Interesting Chord Progressions

I'm starting to really try to use chord progressions to keep my writing organized. I'm having trouble staying focused, because honestly, the ones I know of are kind of boring. Do you guys have any favourites? If so, I'd love to hear from you. PS. If anyone knows any cool black metal-y ones...

Very true. It's the price to pay when everyone wants their shit yesterday.

    I want to shred

This is very true. I think we've all been there. Learning a song you're sure you can't play with the skills you have is a recipe for frustration, and you don't want to put yourself in a position where it becomes more like work than fun to pick up your guitar, because you'll slowly start to walk...

I can understand where Renkenstein is coming from, though. I don't have much of an art or geometry background, but when I started blacksmithing, I could never get any of the grinds just quite right.

It's funny, that's one of the things that makes it aesthetically pleasing for me. Hahah.

Should I put a brass nut on my partscaster?

The nut and saddles do a lot more for your tone than the wood. Definitely worth investing in, but Graphtech seems to be the best middle ground for workability and resonance. In the end, if you like to tinker, you might have five or six different combos in as many years, and one day you might...

    I want to shred

Also great information! Don't let anyone tell you that the way they hold the neck is the "correct technique". Look at someone else's hands. Now look at yours. They're very different. They vary in size, shape, angle, etc. Some people can put their thumb over the top, some can't. It's a journey to...

I have a problem to write music

I swear I'll need this tattooed on my forearm to remember it, but this is what I really need to work on remembering when I want to start writing.

I'll take your word for it. Lol. Where I live, you could surf, but if you don't freeze to death, you smell like cod and get pecked by birds.

    I want to shred

Here's a challenge for you. Write a song with the skills you have now. Learn how to play it note for note flawlessly. You'll be a better musician by the end.

    Made my own Fretwrap. (Tutorial)

Every time I see a picture of an Australian guy wearing sandals, I start wondering if it's a stereotype we haven't noticed yet. XD Thanks for the tutorial, I'll have to go make some of these. (With hot glue... My girlfriend would never let me near a sewing machine.)

I think I'm doing everything wrong

And the ultimate life lesson... You're going to .... up. You're going to .... up a lot. When you think you've got a skill down perfectly, you'll .... it up. The true test in life isn't only in how you learn from those experiences, but your willingness to go out there, try some stuff, and ...

Anyone here proficient enough in vcarve pro (CAD program) to draw an RG8 body?

If this fails, I'm pretty sure most CAD/CAM programs have an option to increase the size of the body by ~10% from an existing RG body model.
