It's Ron Jarzombeck, his brother Bobby on drums and Pete Perez on bass. He does a fair bit of that guitar narration of cartoons and other wierd stuff. They have a tune called See And It's Sharp which is a song consisting entirely of C and C# only. It's worth hearing, but sometimes in small...
Jarzombeck is insanely skilled, though the Spastic Ink cd's give me headaches they're so complex  Atheist, especially the Unquestionable Presence album, are fantastic. Psychotic Waltz's early stuff is good too. Aghora featruing excellent 7 stringer Santiago Dobles on guitar are...
That's four of us on Drew's Black List so  The Live At Budokan DVD/CD is well worth getting, low on cheese, big on the widdly widdly stuff and the director did well in focussing on Petrucci when the man was letting rip (sometimes these live shows just don't capture the important...
I didn't like the new one at all. Contrary to most DT fans I know, I think Train Of Thought is their best work by a long, long way... ...Sorry, I'll get my coat :ugh:
I've played three 7's Schecter C7 Blackjack - thick, round neck but still very comfortable and easy enough to get around. ESP LTD H207 - slightly thinner, flatter at the back than the Schecter Conklin Groove Tools GTG7 - Really very thin, thinner than any 6 I have too.
Fuck yeah! Congratulations man, that will be great fun. He played here a few months back and, apart from the great man himself, his drummer is really top drawer too. Enjoy it man, I am exceptionally jealous :yesway:
I got the Groove Tools from a place in the the States and had it shipped over. It cost me $400, and I could easily have gotten one cheaper on ebay if I'd waited, but I was GASsing over the thing so badly I was almost coming out in a rash :yum: It's a guitar with a lot of potential though you...
In dabhoys house (can't let the missus see it) but it's sold to Fey, pretty much. I'll have to confirm that though. The H-207 is pretty much the same guitar, in principle, as the Schecter, so it's got to go lest the missus take my balls away ;)
I love Ohm, this is top of the "To Get" list. The other two cd's are solid gold. The three members of that band are absolute maestros on their respective instruments and yeah, Kofi's probably a better drummer than his dad. Total respect
