Give Jeremy at LGM a call. That is an insane amount of money for a custom guitar. Maybe Schecter custom shop too? Shop around, you'll get the exact guitar you want built cheaper elsewhere for sure.
Come on lads, use your imagination. There isn't a Schecter dealer in Ireland, I had to resort to ebay. In fact, the last 5 instruments I've bought have been from the USA or Japan, either from private sellers or dealers. Even including shipping costs and import taxes, it has still cost me...
Heh heh heh I take it all back. He should go into just a little bit more detail about the bridge setup. It reads very poorly and doesn't really explain exactly what the deal is, it's hardly a straightforward setup. Still... interesting idea :shred:
I've got both (and set neck too). To be honest, it wouldn't bother me what it was, once it's a good guitar. I think every design has positives and negatives, though overall they pretty much equalise each other out. I couldn't say one way is better than the other though if pushed for a preference...
I bought a Groove Tools a couple of weeks ago. Not bad at all. Fundamentally very nice let down a bit by the fretwork but, even so, worth $300 IMO. It has the fastest 7 string neck I've ever played, makes my C7 feel like a baseball bat.
This week the top 5 would be: Cynic Atheist Coroner Black Sabbath Aghora though it would change week by week, damn I do love Metal! If you guys haven't heard Coroner I'd really recommend you check them out, really unbeliveably tastefull technical guitar playing :hbang:
