I bought a guitar from them thats on its way right now. From their website I found something that looked like a e-mail symbol and wrote what I wanted . A few days later I got the info I needed to purchase it-basically where to send a wire transfer of the funds. There's something along a 12%...
1. IBZ HRG7 (mahogany hardtail-on it's way from japan!) 2. JP 7 3. K7 (I'm not big on the inlay either but other than that I like everything else about it-seriously thinking about getting one) 4. Satrianis 7- I know its a custom but I love natural finish guitars 5. NAMM 7 (?) hopefully...
Nice, I'm debating getting one. How's the tremelo arm fit? I mean is there any play in it before you raise or lower it ? I hate loose feeling trems. Thats one good thing about my JP 7-tight/solid feeling trem with no play whatsoever.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm giving fellow formites first dibs on a five month-old Graphite Pearl JP 7. Piezo, natural finish headstock, dot inlays, EB harshell case. No problems or flaws with this whatsoever. I'm only selling this...
I have a Blackjack and a 7421- the C 7 neck is thicker-painted-access is not very good at the joint and there is no arm relief cut. That being said the C 7 is still a fine instrument with a solid feel to it and great pickups. The first time I played it a comparison to a baseball bat came to...
Not trying to be a downer here but is anyone else concerned that the seller has only one feedback and apparently cannot spell ? And this person has a nice 7-string lying around ? Caveat emptor...
cool, I'm getting my second JP 7 in a couple of weeks (carbon blue with the new compensated nut)! I may sell the first one-I'm not sure yet. Got a pretty good deal from Dubalo music. The trem is a free floating one so it can go up/down.
How do you guys like the trems on them? Do you have to get locking studs to put in ? How about the paint job- it's not chip'n dent-city like the old Ibanezs is it?
No but Ishibashi does and their a Japanese store. Also someone earlier in the thread stated they do ship to the US. Pretty good reasons to think there would be something in english , right? :squint:
I have both the IBZ 7421 and the C 7 Blackjack. While the C 7 is overall a better instrument the Ibz has the better neck (IMHO). The C 7 has a thicker neck and access to the upper frets is hampered by the thick cutout. I also tune B-E ,so the extended scale of the C7 puts more tension on the...
Your right about the set-up, but if you end up not liking it you know for sure you can return it if you buy from music 123, drumcity... has nothing I've seen that says you can return a item. Nice guys there (just got a JP 7 from them) but I would feel safer from buying from the big guys- just in...
I got mine for $1550 at Drumcityguitar land. You could also try Basscentral and Indoorstorm (.coms), or Dubaldos music-though he says he wont have any 'till the end of Nov. All together the average is $1500-2100.
Hey guys, been gassing lately for a JP7, trying to talk myself in/out of buying one. Anyone here have experience with one? I'll take good and bad opinions. The EB forum as you can guess will not have unbiased reviews. Currently for 7's I have a IBZ 7421, and a Schecter C7 Blackjack. The C7...
I guess I'm the blacksheep here, with a set of 10s on and the extended scale of the Blackjack (B-E) I found bends and fast picking harder on the hands/wrists so I've gone down to 9s, I cant see myself going heavier than 10s without tuning down to reduce the string tension. Now with my Ibanez 7...
