Hey Rev I've got the SD Custom 7 in my 7421, and for metal I think it sounds better than the JB 7 in my Blackjack-which to me sounds better for everything else.

I agree with the others. Another thing that may or may not matter to you is the string tension-if you tune B-E and have a light touch everything takes a little more effort to do (due to 26.5 scale length). I dont really notice until I put the Blackjack down and pick up the Ibanez 7 (25.5) ...

Hey guys, I recently got the C7 and while I like the sound of it and the extra tension on the low B ( 26.5 scale) , the thick neck is giving me second thoughts. Currently my other 7 is a Ibanez 7421 (SD Custom pu in bridge). The Ibanez neck is comfortable and easy to play, the C7 felt like a bat...
