It seems pretty even across the strings. I didn't have an analog meter to see where these things went, but peak to peak, my measurements were exactly what EMG said they would expect. If you are finding differently, you should let EMG know.
As stated in the chart, RTL is not the whole story nor did anyone claim it, HOWEVER, if you read the link you posted, or talk to Vin, or Jim Roseberry, there is an inescapable conclusion: The lower the RTL at a given buffer size, the more plugins that interface can handle before it starts to...
Audient uses the same TheSycon.de drivers as behringer does. I wouldn't be surprised if it had better converters and mic pres though. But without any data backing it up, there's no reason to believe its true.
I have two nearly identical guitars and the guitar with the 707 is 4-6 dB louder than the 81-7. I have them both wired to tone and volume bypass when testing. Is this normal? Edit: Just got off the phone with EMG, they said this sounds about right, also that my 707 neck should be a bit louder...
https://floydrose.com/products/frtp1k7?variant=29924549266 "The low-profile version of our infamous Original 7-String tremolo, the 1000 Series Pro features the same string spacing as the Floyd Rose Original (.420")" The low string is also way farther from the fretboard edge than on the original
I have a problem with my new Floyd Rose Pro tremolo. As seen in the pictures below, I have replaced a Floyd Rose 1000 SE 7 string model with the Floyd Rose pro 7 string model. With the new Pro, the string is extremely, and disturbingly close to the edge of the fretboard. In the two pictures, the...
I have one of these coming in which has a 1000SE 7 String Floyd https://www.gear4music.com/us/en/Guitar-and-Bass/ESP-LTD-MH-1007-QM-7-String-Black-Fade/2T8Z On a phone call with Floyd Rose today I found out they had an oil slick 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes! I am a BMXer so obviously a crazy lunatic for...
I was on a zoom call the other night with Glenn Fricker and he pulled out an Amarok 7 and it was REALLY nice...Made by the same people who make all my favorite guitars, but in the Indonesian rather than the Korean factory. The bummer for me is that they don't offer a Floyd model
I've been watching since this thread (thanks everyone) and searching, and really, there isn't anything I see that comes near the Agiles for near the price. For fixed bridge, the indonesian Amaroks seem cool, but not sure what if I want a floyd
This. REALLY IMPORTANT: Check Behringer's page to be sure the interface has a REAL ASIO driver. Not ASIO4All. The real behringer ASIO drivers are made by TheSycon.de. Same people who make the drivers for SSL, Audient and many others
Here's a test which featured the fastrak (not the pro I dont think, but I would be surprised if this were much different. It was pretty flat, but today's instrument inputs are MUCH quieter. https://pipelineaudio.net/gear-reference-charts-and-measurements/direct-boxes/
My main mixing computer still doesnt have an SSD. I need to switch, takes like a minute to boot up. OP, any i series laptop you get from the last 5 years is about 4.278 googlezillion times more powerful than the things I mixed hundreds of albums on. And since you are talking REAPER, you are...
Has there ever been any actual evidence, from the reality based world, that the body wood choice is going to have an effect on the tone coming out the output jack? Please spare the Fallacious ad-hominems, Fallacious Appeal to Emotion, anecdotes about your uncle's gardener who once shared a cab...
Doesnt the zero 2 use bearings as well? I'd love to try one of these zero things, but I really don't see it on many seven strings, and the ones I do find are bolt ons. I think the only neck thru I found with one was the zero 2
