FYI, my Jackson (Cost $200) is from India. And yeah, I'd definitely say my Schecter C1 Artist Edition (cost $499) is far higher quality. But once again, I think I have one of their cheapest models, so you get what you pay for. I assume their more expensive models offer better quality. Snarlly
FYI, Guitar Center called me and told me the C-7 Hellraiser I ordered (and later cancelled) arrived on Tuesday. So, if you are local and want a Hellraiser today, give AJ down there a call. Mine arrives from Drum City today via FexEx. Hurry up you lazy ass FedEx driver!!!! Snarllmiester
I was at Guitar Center in San Jose, and they had an Exotic on the showroom floor. Very nice guitar. I think I would prefer an Exotic in transparent blue myself, but the exotic is definitely a looker. I actually prefer their Zebra Wood exotic Bass myself. I've never seen it in person myself...
This I agree to 100%. THere is no greater value than Schecter (other than going with used.) That's why I own two of them. If I were employed I might own more or even better guitars, but thats not possible for me right now. Snarlly
Thats cool. I was just worried that people were or might start taking it personally. I'm a new guy here don't want to piss anyone off...at least not for a week or two. Snarllster
I believe all Schecters are made in Korea, unless you get one made out of their California Custom Shop. The quality is really high though. I have always been impressed with their products. Far higher quality that the Jackson I own... Snarllster
My best friend and I have debated this more than once. He agrees with you actually, as he prefers October Rust. But clearly you guys are all wrong, and I am correct. King Snarll
Another band I didn't see anyone talking about (I did skip some of the 57 pages) is Opeth. This band is absolutely brilliant. They range from completely mellow Pink Floyd-like music to quite heavy Death/Swedish Metal sounds, and often do this in the same song! This is the best nordic-metal...
I didn't see anyone list this album: Slayer-Seasons in the Abyss This is perpetually being played in my car/home. Greatest album ever??? And I am not a die-hard Slayer fan, but this album is *AWESOME*. Snarlly
Woot, Testament!!! Home town thrash gods. I hear Alex Skolnick is rejoinging them again. Call me crazy though, but I don't remember a Demonic album. That a new recording? Snarlly
Thanks to you wonderful people, I cancelled my local order and went with Jason@Drum City-Guitar Land,Inc. He is setting it up today/tomorrow and getting it in the mail to me tomorrow with UPS 3-day. He suggested that I get a different case than the Schecter one (he agreed that the Schecter...
I've read that the metal feet break off very easily, and this cracks the plastic case. (I've never owned a hard case-only a "gig-bag", so I am just telling you what I'm reading.) Does this seem like it might be an issue for you? Or have they re-vamped the design? I want to protect my new...
I am looking for a good case for my Hellraiser 7. The reviews of the Schecter brand cases makes them sound like complete junk. If this is the case, what are you guys using? Thanks in advance! Snarlly
I like this bad as well. I've seen them on Ozzfest, and I believe I saw them opening for Cradle of Filth as well. They are a fine band, and their blend of Hardcore and European (Nordic) death/black metal is a nice hybrid wich difirentiates them from the crowd. That said, I much prefer the...
I took your advice. I talk to my dealer and they are going to talk to the Schecter distributer Monday. If he cannot get it for me sooner, it sounds like he will refund my deposit. I am awaiting a response from Drum City to confirm that they do have this in stock as well. Thanks again for...
