    Have you ever heard of abc notation? It seems like abc notation would be a good format to parse with any language not just python. (for you programmers out there).

    Pinch harmonics on an upstroke

    I do it on the upstroke with index finger but can't do it that way on the downstroke. I think it's the way I hold my pick though with just a little bit of meat hanging over the edge.

    You could also make these scales on the Virtual Guitar to see what they look like. Take a screen shot of them or print them too.
