^^^ Yeah i would go with this guy's advice. ^^^ Try a cheaper Schecter or Jackson 7 string. Most are 26.5", which should be enough for what you want to do.
Being completely honest, long-scale guitars are a bitch to play if you have small hands. I have small hands and I bought a schecter sls c-8, which has a 28" scale. I ended up having to buy another 7 string that has a shorter 25.5" scale because the 28 was too much. It is a bit hard to play...
If you want tuning stability, don't get an agile. Unfortunately most low-end guitars have bad tuning stability. You might want to consider spending an extra 200-300$ and get a solid instrument.
Its gotta be the fact that your LTD has a set-thru neck and not a bolt-on. That makes the guitar feel so much different. I just got my first ever bolt-on guitar and it does feel really weird.
Congrats man! I have an SLS 8 string and it is an awesome guitar. It does sound like there is some sort of shielding problem with your pickup though, because mine are not like that.
Hey man, I used to have an M-1000. I can tell you it is an amazing guitar and it sounds punchy as hell. Im mad at myself for getting rid of it! Anyways, if you end up with the M-1000, you should love it.
Don't go with the hellraiser man. Put in the extra 100-150 and get the SLS. Satin finished neck, ebony board vs rosewood on the hellraiser, better inlays, and SD blackouts vs EMGs. The SLS is just better.
Why don't you just keep standard EADGBE, but drop the B to an A? Then you can get the low D power chord by playing 5-5-5, and you would still have the rest of the guitar standard. AEADGBE is probably the most common 7 string tuning (along with half step down and full step down versions)
Auras A small band from Cambridge, Canada. They have 1 album and 1 single out right now. They fit into the deathcore/djent genre, I suggest you check them out. Entities VERY djenty stuff. They have an EP and a short album. Reflections Once again, very djenty stuff. They also have some crazy...
I think, the only people that are disappointed with this album are the people who expected it to be like the discovery. Jason Richardson obviously had a very big influence on the discovery, and once he was kicked out of the band I kind of knew what to expect for the new album. I did not expect...
