From a youtube video with the guitarist from between the buried and me, and the longer haired guy from periphery paul reed said he used the same pickups in all the guitars. So I'm guessing you have very similar pickups to what I have and they are darker and more mid heavy than my agile.

You make a great point about the parts. If I'm going to spend over a grand I might as well get the carvin and get exactly what I want. Carvin is 1350 and nails everything except the pick gaurd, which isnt a deal breaker and I can get one made if it bothers me too much.

Did you find any finish problems? I know it was huge issue a while back. I'm trying to decide between them and carvin for my sevenstring tele build but it will be a little less common looking than most teles so I have to be happy with it cause I'll lose my ass on it if I try to sell it.
