I'm pretty sold. SS frets, solid white color (hopefully, but I gotta say the natural looks good too), coverless pickups. Even if it's made in Korea I'll likely have to go for it, it has all the specs I want in a 7 string.

Mine's definitely keeping me happy too Gunnar. Channel A is definitely top notch for the versatility it offers and B is great for metal. I'm not really making or playing any Djent style tunes so I'll have to agree that it might not be for everybody. Though with a TS it definitely tightens it up...

I'm a big fan of the Sword, so I'm okay with that! I played this with my Warmoth SSS strat today and despite having stacked single coils the sound was still pretty heavy. Definitely would recommend, I have to say the the Channel B "Dark Terror" sound is heavy!

I have D'addario .11-.56 on my ESP/LTD EC1000 in drop B and they've worked out fine, though the primary tuning I use on that guitar is C# standard. Definitely a great release by PRS, only thing I would change is the neck (mahogany instead of maple) and SS frets. Just my preference. Still, great to see a PRS that has some slightly different features than usual. Especially that bridge. I love a good hardtail.

Honestly, my experience with tube amps is that bedroom level volumes just don't compare to the tone you get from blasting it. And if you're in a situation where you're only allowed to utilize bedroom volumes, I'd recommend saving your money. That's just my opinion. What are you currently using...
