You're comparing the REALLY old stuff (I actually liked that at the time) to the second album which was a complete change, while here we are on about the 3rd album :) "Count your blessings" + "This is what the edge of your seat was made for" are the two deathcorey albums, the more heavier stuff...

...I hate to say it but a few songs on it were pretty enjoyable...and I have no idea why :\ I liked there early albums...when I was at the time like 14/15 then suicide season came out when I'd already grown away from them and I ignored them since. Gave this album a try...and some of its not...

Loved the low rythm bit around the start, though I felt the lead was a bit to upfront from time to time and realy stuck out but also felt like a massive drop when it faded off due to the massive amount it brought into the song though it was still extremely nice and in all sounded realy good :)

Another bump D= I'm looking to put some vocals on it also, but I myself can't reproduce the sound I want (since I can't even sing in the first place never mind scream) so some tips and how I would go about this would be helpful D= Cheers, Jim.

Thanks for that, didn't expect such a positive responce :) To answer, yeah the bass is pitch shifted from the pedal, I imagine it could be better but it will do for now :) And both side patches use the peavey sim with quite low gain with the booster + a condensor mic, other than that its just...

Its not, Brokencyde bad imo, its bad, sort of like Attack Attacks old stuff, but not as bad a brokencyde. (I'm not suggesting Attack attacks new stuff is good in anyway)
