What would adding a compressor at the beginning of the chain do in that situation. I'm looking at purchasing a Dunlop compressor but unsure of it's effect. I'm currently running ISP Dec > OD808 > MXR Smart Gate. Would I achieve much with a compressor infront of the lot? Or where would it go? I...
