I ended up ordering form Musicians Friend. Free shipping and hassle free returns. I have no idea if I will like it or not because I couldn't try it out locally. The neck worries me because I have small hands. If the Blackjack doesn't due it fom me I'll probably get a used RG7621.

I had the Schallers on my RG421 but I changed them to the Planet Waves Auto-Trim tuners. I like them WAY better! 18:1 compared to 16:1 also!:agreed:

My main guitar is the RG421 which was the predecessor of the 321. It has a Basswood body and was MIJ. I love it! I replaced the stock pu's with a Steve's Special(bridge) and a Air Norton(neck) and it sounds great! I also replaced the tuner with Planet Waves Auto-trims. I:bowdown:
