Grats, man! Just be careful under the hood; I can't count the number of guitarists I've known or heard about whose careers were finished by accidents in mechanical jobs like that.
I don't think anyone's using a .072 on a six; jbab's talking about his eight. The heaviest I've ever used is a .062 for drop B and I had to bore out my tuner a bit so it'd fit. Edit: Well, unless it's a bari.
I grew up near Boston and I always loved that goddamned city. (Also, MFB speaks truth. My absolute weakness is indie/hipster/scene girls and I wish I'd been single when I lived back there! There are very few here...) I'd love nothing more than to move back, but there's absolutely no way I can...
This is the best thread in human history. Congratulations, Sang! You're a far braver person than most, even if this is an internet forum loaded with people who are basically your friend by default!
QFT. A lot of doctors seem to lose interest in a situation that drags on for awhile; at least, that was my experience. Eventually they get to the point where they just throw in the towel and can't wait to hand you off to someone else. In any event, I'm glad to hear things are improving!

Take it from a hollow, shattered shell of a man: enjoy your twenties. Mine are very nearly over - just a few more months - and I'm just now realizing that I utterly wasted them. YOU MUST LIVE FOR THOSE OF US WHO DIDN'T
Man, I haven't had a final in a decade, but I kind of wish I did. I've been wanting to go back to school for ages, but I just lack the cash and proper motivation. It'd be a damn sight better than rotting in a cube!
Welcome aboard, sir! So after the Denver Spring Breakdown show, I ran into Ronnie and I may have told him I would murder him and wear his skin to front BoO. He didn't, uh, mention that at all, did he? >_>
Sames. I gotta get me one of those! My answer is my sack o' Dunlop Tortex 1.14s! Somebody told me once they were discontinuing them, so I ran out and bought every one my local music stores had. Ten years later, Dunlop still churns 'em out by the bajillion and I feel a bit silly, but at least...
