Hi Josh and welcome. My eldest boy and his family just moved to Bunbury and I think there's a few others from Waiheke there too. Just yell "Waiheke - Go the Mighty Rams" at the supermarket and your family will grow heaps :) Good people. Rick
Hi - I only squeezed through the door a couple ahead of you but welcome. Have you given thought to open-tunings to reduce the stretching etc. I'm new to sevens too - came from four GDAE, through five CGDAE, six opens to seven opens -three roots, two thirds and two fifths. Aroha. Rick
I like open tunings - play blues mostly. D becomes DF#ADF#AD, E is EG#BEG#BE, G is DGBDGBD. Really tight boxes and minors and sevenths are a cinch behind the slide. Cheers - Rick
Hi People. Haven't had a good look around yet but guess I may be a bit oddball. I play for my own enjoyment; like slide, open tunings and pentatonic blues scales so tune mine (for instance) DF#ADF#AD. Makes for the tightest boxes and easy fretting for minors and sevenths behind the slide...
